As an entrepreneur Curren$y talks about growing as a businessman by investing in his new business venture “Life Burger” a burger spot located in the historical Mid-City, New Orleans.

Angie is recognized as one of the most influential personalities in popular culture and multi-media. As she sits down with the champs, we chop it up about her legendary career.

Being one of the few people to interview legends such as 2 Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., JAY Z and NAS, she still rocks the mic as she conducts high-profiled interviews with Hip-Hop’s new generation of talent.

Angie shares the origin story about her radio segment “Battle of The Beats” and how it became a power house in New York City. As a platform for emerging artists, “Battle of The Beats” introduced a young JAY Z’s music to the New York City airwaves. Later on “Battle of The Beats” would showcase the historic battle between NAS & JAY Z, playing their songs “Ether” and “Super Ugly”, as the two MC’s battled each other and became Kings of New York.

Angie Martinez shares how important it is to stay grounded, fair and truthful while interviewing artists during their highs and lows.

She also shares stories about her days at Hot 97, why she eventually left the radio station for the rival Power 105 and how the move positively impacted her career.

Angie shares memories of Big Pun, Eazy-E, and talks about her favorite eras in Hip-Hop. Angie also shares stories of her Hip-Hop collectible items and how she received them.

Being inspired by Moguls such as J.Prince, Luke Skyywalker (Luther Campbell) and St. Charles; Master P shares how the Bay Area played an influential role in his independent roots.

Master P shares stories about the first No Limit Records store that he opened at the age of 19 and how he transformed it, into a multi-million dollar empire with his No Limit Records imprint. Allowing his No Limit Soldiers to share their war stories and put New Orleans on the map!

In this episode Master P aka Mr. Ice Cream Man shares classic No Limit stories, talks about rebuilding The Calliope Projects, dealing with Suge Knight, and signing Snoop Dogg to No Limit Records. Master P also shares stories about working with the late great Nipsey Hussle.

The conversation gets real as Master P gives his opinion on how media should shed more light on the positive things an artist does, rather than focus on the negativity that can cloud the career of an artist.
