Episode 187 w/ Irv Gotti #DRINKCHAMPS

Irv takes us on a ride through hip-hop history as he shares stories of working with a young JAY Z, being introduced to the Ruff Ryders, working with Ja Rule and forming the group “Murder Inc.“, a super group composed of Ja Rule, DMX & JAY Z.

For two and a half years Russ independently released 11 mixtapes and weekly songs. Eventually gaining the attention of major labels, Russ would go on to release his studio album “There’s Really A Wolf” which would gain Platinum status.

One of the few artist to develop an incredible cult following, his Jet Life fan base has grown with him throughout his career! In this episode Curren$y shares a lot of gems with us. As an entrepreneur Curren$y talks about growing as a businessman by investing in his new business venture “Life Burger” a burger spot located in the historical Mid-City, New Orleans.
