Being one of the first artists from Toronto to blow up, Kardinal Offishall’s impact in Hip-Hop has opened the doors for many artist to come out of Toronto. Kardinal Offishall recognizes and pays respect to Toronto’s home town heroes and shares with us incredible stories from his career.

Cipha Sounds shares his origin story from working with Funkmaster Flex, writing skits for Dave Chappelle, to how he made a name for himself on New York City’s airwaves. Cipha Sounds drops gems as he share how he and Peter Rosenberg created the first Hip-Hop Podcast with JUAN EPSTEIN.

Episode 193 w/ Memphis Bleek #DRINKCHAMPS

N.O.R.E. & DJ EFN are the Drink Champs. On today’s episode The Champs welcome back legendary recording artist Memphis Bleek. Bleek shares lots of great Roc-a-Fella stories, creating Warehouse Music Group and helping develop the D’USSÉ brand.

Bleek shares how he’s looked up to JAY Z since a very young age and how a personal conversation with Hov changed his whole life. Bleek shares stories about creating his classic debut album “Coming of Age” and gives his opinion on what caused the end of Roc-a-Fella Records.

As the D’USSÉ shots keep pouring N.O.R.E. and Bleek reflect back on receiving “Pimp” awards. The Champs and Bleek also discuss a variety of topics such as working with legendary producers, growing older in hip-hop and traveling the world.

Episode 192 “Last Call of 2019” #DRINKCHAMPS

N.O.R.E. & DJ EFN are the Drink Champs. On today’s episode The Champs take a look back at this years legendary episodes where N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN sit down with some of Hip Hop’s biggest icons, including Nas, Birdman, Jazzy Jeff, Redman, Master P, De La Soul, Angie Martinez, and many more.

Sittin’ at the DC table, The Champs and their guests relive some of their favorite stories told throughout 2019. From classic Ruff Ryders, No Limit and Cash Money stories from the guests who lived it, to legendary stories of icons who are no longer with us. As Redman made us laugh with his MTV Cribs story, Nas dropped gems at the DC table. As we celebrated our win of “Best Talk Show”, we laughed about how we ended up breaking the award, in true Drink Champs fashion.

As 2019 came to a close, it was only right that we heard more legendary stories about PRINCE, told by the artists who met him.

N.O.R.E. & DJ EFN are the Drink Champs. On today’s episode The Champs celebrate the Holidays with the DC Fam in this special Christmas episode! The Drunk Uncles take some time to celebrate each member of the Drink Champs Family and most importantly the Drink Champs Army!

The DC Family share some great stories over food and drinks. Taking a break from our traditional Tiger Bone shots, we embrace the holiday spirit by drinking some of our original holiday drinks including the “NORMOSA”, “The Make Some Noise” and our favorite “EF-ILLINI” guaranteed to make Santa do the BOP!

Joined by our good friends and DC Alumni Fat Joe and Dre (from Cool and Dre), the duo take a seat at the table and share stories from the making of their new album “Family Ties”. Joe shares the story of his reaction when first hearing Eminem’s verse on the song “Lord Above” and the controversy it’s been stirring up.

As the festivities continue we discuss topics including Cool and Dre’s legendary Miami history, Fat Joe almost being featured on The War Report album and memorable Big Pun and Puerto Rican Day Parade stories! In this episode we’re also joined by our friends Capone, Scott Storch and more!

At the DC table Ray J shares great stories, like having a close relationship with Diddy & Suge Knight, working with 2Pac & The Notorious B.I.G. and being part of a talented family that includes his sister Brandy and cousins Daz Dillinger and Snoop Dogg.

Although the tiger bone shots keep pouring, the ancient Chinese wine is no match for Ray J, as he stays ready for questions about his famous “tape” which featured a famous female reality star/business woman. Ray J acknowledges being “Mentally Petty” and how he wasn’t proud of himself after making the song “I Hit It First”.

Ray J also clears up the famous Vegas story once told on Drink Champs, that includes Diddy, 50 Cent, Floyd Mayweather and his “non-certified fight” with Fabolous. Which lead to his famous rant that happened on The Breakfast Club.

As entrepreneur Ray J has been growing his Raycon electronics company and shares some of his popular products with the DC Family. Styles P joins in on the conversation as well. Lots of great stories are shared on this episode that you don’t want to miss!

Episode 187 w/ Irv Gotti #DRINKCHAMPS

N.O.R.E. & DJ EFN are the Drink Champs. On today’s episode The Champs chop it up with legendary record executive, C.E.O. and co-founder of Murder Inc., Irv Gotti. A fellow DC Alumni, we welcome back Irv Gotti as he shares classic hip-hop stories, of his personal hip-hop journey.

Irv takes us on a ride through hip-hop history as he shares stories of working with a young JAY Z, being introduced to the Ruff Ryders, working with Ja Rule and forming the group “Murder Inc.“, a super group composed of Ja Rule, DMX & JAY Z.

As Irv expresses his displeasure, with the disconnection in hip-hop between the young and older generation, Irv Gotti and The Champs discuss establishing a hip-hop union. And Irv shares the story of how a hip-hop union was almost created between J.Prince, Suge Knight and himself.
