Olivia asks about everyone’s 10,000 hours of expertise, listeners’ questions are asked of our bartender (Deke Zibinski, of Baltimore’s Northside Tavern), Stephen wonders if we have been stood up or have stood people up, Andrew helps us look for portends of these troubled times and RJ gets a bit annoyed with the latter work of James Howard Kunstler.
Oh- and we also make a very, very lame prank call to Shek.
As always, the show’s available below.

Wasted Words is the panel discussion program where everyone is drunk and nobody knows what they're talking about. Offering up a less sober perspective on any and all topics, ranging from politics to popular culture. Hosted by RJ White.

Is there going to be an “overdrive” this week?

I do not believe that there will be an “overdrive” any week.

I posted my comment before I had heard the podcast. Oh, I have had a couple people that don’t know any of you guys tell me they like listening to wasted words.

I think you guys are talking about that Malcolm Gladwell dude (10,000 hours thing)

I’ve reversed my position and now think that this podcast should NOT be fifteen minutes, but should be AN HOUR and fifteen minutes.
Just kidding.

Hey folks. James Howard Kunstler is 60. And he lives in Saratoga Springs NY, not Sarasota.
I host a weekly podcast with him, called the KunstlerCast. (It’s an indie project of mine).
The mood of the show goes up and down, some are downers but a lot of the shows are upbeat.
I do play prerecorded questions and comments on the show if you’re interested in weighing in on things.
