Of course, as soon as I mention Barry Polisar as a subversive kids’ musician who doesn’t do treacly, saccharine kids music, I follow that link and remember that OH YEAH, just like the song he has on the Juno soundtrack, roughly half of his output is treacly, syrupy kids’ music. Ach.
